groceries and accomplishing the mission: 2010

I’ve held off on revealing my resolutions because showcasing them in the very beginning of the year is a little counterintuitive for me; the later on in the year, all the more reason to remind myself of what I’ve resolved to do.
Then again, it won’t be too late, because when I saw Steven write about this 2010 project, I knew I wanted to get involved.

Every year, many of us make resolutions that we soon forget about after a few days, or a few weeks if we’re lucky. Last year I forgot exactly what my resolutions were (I decided on them mid-December before the new year) but still, with intent, ended the year having “resolved” them all. This year I’m a lot more daring and ambitious; I have specific habits I want to achieve and projects I want to accomplish and I will accomplish them.
Accomplishing the Mission: 2010 is a group project about motivation, about dedication to persistence, about the stubborn unwillingness to give up. ATM: 2010 is dedicated to actually doing our best to follow through with our resolutions, through thick and thin.
So for each month this year, a snazzy report of my progress shall magically appear alongside stories of my subsequent struggle and, so I hope, success.
I encourage all of you to get involved as well, whether it’s by actually joining this project ( me for more info!) or commenting with your own trials, tribulations, and celebrations in fulfilling your resolutions!
Every month, my fellow resolution-reachers will also deliver reports on their progress, and I’ll be showcasing their progress reports (sounds like secondary school again.. but this time, in a good way), inspiration, and helpful tips… and yours, too!
My resolutions will be a secret for only a few more days, but until then, brood on what you REALLY want to accomplish this year (even this decade!) and give me a little idea.. but shh, don’t tell me the whole story just yet!
Are you ready to rock 2010 together?
